Prepare documentation, Specification, Vendor assessment and selection, Layout proposals, Simulation and other Engineering activities as required by Management in order to find the best solutions for improvement in product and manufacturing methods, cost savings and others for HFV-6, UV-8, L-6  and I-5 production lines.

 

GM Mfg. Engineering -DMAX Engine Plant – 6.6 L Diesel Program

Responsible for Automation equipment for Gen III Block machining line, including the robotic buffers. Fulfill all engineering duties from the SOR to PPAP, including but not limited to; Simultaneous engineering, build and delivery in time, scheduling verification and approval, Layout reviews and all other activities related to required documentation and equipment qualification and compliance

 

GM Mfg. Engineering -GMPT Tonawanda Engine plant – HVV 6 Program

Responsible for the effort, from Central Engineering Team, on helping Tonawanda team to close the Open Issues that are affecting the successful completion of the MRO activities in the Head Department. Help in the process of PPAP.

Worked on all the aspects of qualification of the equipment with the local team and resources, OEM’s, plant engineering, maintenance organization, production supervisors, team leaders, operators, engineering and management in order to insure functionality and other requirements for in time and successful PPAP of the equipment. Also coordinated the activities related to services and resources provided by OEM’s as related to my work area and duties.

 

GM Mfg.Engineering -GMPT Livonia Engine plant – Gen III Program

Responsible for Automation equipment for Gen III Block machining line, including the robotic buffers. Fulfill all engineering duties from the SOR to PPAP, including but not limited to; Simultaneous engineering, build and delivery in time, scheduling verification and approval, Layout reviews and all other activities related to required documentation and equipment qualification and compliance.

 

GM Mfg. Engineering -GMPT Tonawanda Engine Plant – I4/I5 Program 

Responsible for spearheading the installation and qualification of Mod 2, 3 and 4 Block Machining for I4/I5 Program.

Worked on all the aspects of the installation and qualification of the equipment with the construction crew, OEM’s plant engineering, maintenance organization, production supervisors, team leaders, operators, engineering and management in order to insure proper installation, tooling, functionality and other requirements for in time and successful PPAP of the equipment. Also coordinated the activities related to services and resources provided by other plants as related to my work area and duties, such as tooling and point of use fill, parts and materials movement and inventory, P.O. tracking, spare parts and Gages.
